Dry Cough & Red Eye Infection

About a month ago, I'm voiceless for few days. weeks later i have my nice voice back (although my fren told me it still sound a little hoarse). as a result of the recovery, now i'm suffering from dry cough. trying hard to avoid it, coz once i started it, it made me cough like an asthma patient. i have to stop watever i'm doing, close my eyes, hand to the chest, free my mind, and focus on my breathing, until i get it running smoothly again. sigh... it was like losing my breath for 5 secs. last week it woke me up from my sleep for several nights, to clear the mucus.. yes, the mucus only occur at night or early in the morning. day time, it was burning dry... now feeling much better, it comes and goes.

Today i woke up with a red eye. still going to work coz i have no idea IT IS a RED EYE infection. have no experience that's y i duno how the symthom is like. i thought it's normal for contact lense user... :) when asked by my boss, i told him it is NOT A RED EYE... hahaha... so convincing as if i am so clever n experienced, able to tell. i was joking with him "Do you want me to take leave?" then he is murmuring sth away and did not actually answer my Q. cute... later at the lunch break, two experienced colleagues told me it is Red Eye infection, judging from the symptoms occur this morning i woke up. the infected eye is wet, and produced alot of... eye-shit? duno a better term for that..

so, sick leave again. it's not for myself, it's for my colleagues. i do not want to stay and leave more virus everywhere in the office... as it spreads very easily... they have to ensure that they wash their hand before they need to touch or rub their eyes. sigh... make me guilty. finish most of the urgent work on hand before i leave and see my doctor.

the potential cause for the infections: extended wear of contact lenses.

hmm ok... acceptable... i wear it almost everyday, and more than 8 hours per day. to be honest, i wear it all day, from 7.30 to late nite, removed only when i got home. so all and all that could be twice as much as the suggested duration.

there are times when i have imagination like,

wat if one day i turn blind due to the excessive use of the lense?

or the worst is,
wat if i have some deadly eye disease?
choy choy choy!!!

frens, do visit me more often la ok, afraid u won't have much chance lo... at least... tell me u love me befo i go... *sob sob*
